Tony himself with his excessive pie!

What a week it has been! We told you last week we were getting together for a “what are we gonna be when we grow up?” face-to-face meeting and we nailed it! Everyone brought their A-game. We focused on our launch (Q1), the one after we get a bunch of beta feedback. We decided we’re going to nail the right things for our target customer. Knowing we won’t get everything we shoot for here is a taste of the things we’ll tackle from now until we define “launch.”

  • Expanded date ranges (on apps that will allow for it)
  • Focus on a handful of NEW apps: SurveyMonkey, MixPanel, Google Sheets, iTunes Connect, CRM (TBD), Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, Whew!
  • Prioritize what NEW Insights of existing apps we’ll tackle so you can see deeper data into each app
  • Business dashboard bundles so you can get up and running fast with any new app
  • Goals & Alerts so you can be notified if something is wonky or going gangbusters with your data!
  • There’s more we just don’t know it yet.

We also ate at Capo’s in North Beach. If you have not heard about it yet it is TRUE Chicago style pizza. Let’s just say that ONE piece of the deep dish “Old Chicago” filled up a person. Ok it was after the garlic bread with truffle oil and cheese but who’s counting?

You’ll be able to see all of the Insights you can add to your business dashboards right from the site.

Marketing

We got our first product review from Matt Mansfield over at Small Business Trends and it was a stunning 4.5 outta 5 stars! Thanks guys. Check out Matt’s site too: Matt About Business.

We got a mention on Inc.com. 20 Leadership Experts Share Their Best Leadership Tips. Our own John Hingley shares tip #11.

We’ve been hard at work getting the Insight Library to be viewable right from the website. It looks amazing and is almost ready to go!

We’ve had some really cool Tweets from beta users and we’re going to publish them on our site. Thanks @davidimber @Clint_NextGen @humcanada @ramonray @kjpixelated you guys rock! Sincerely @GetDasheroo:-)

Internal Stuff

On the internal apps decisions we are going with Zendesk for customer support, Salesforce (as you may know) for CRM and Quickbooks for accounting. We use MixPanel for in-app tracking and some email marketing but we’re going to be using Intercom.io for in-app messaging. It is VERY cool to play around with btw.

John is polishing up his investor presentation and it looks awesome. He’ll be doing some run-throughs this week as he gears up for some SF and NYC meetings in January. Go get ’em!
