MTV published this great infographic (and you know how much dataviz means to us!) by PicClick on the top mentions of fashion brands in hip hop songs and boy was it interesting, well if you’re into that sorta thing.

Surprising to us?

• Kanye is NOT the number one artist who mentions brands, really?
• Seems like not many of the brand-dropping artists like Armani ‘cept Biggie. Did they make plus sizes?
• What rhymes with Lacoste? Apparently nothing.
• A name like Gucci Mane and you rap about Nike? Radical!
