This past week continued the nuttiness. A few of us were away on a vacay, but did that stop the Dasheroo? No way! Even with sun and fun we launched an alpha version of Dasheroo. Our goal? To get 20 people “using” the product. What did we do? We took the list of you that have signed up for our beta version and randomly selected people to invite; some people we knew, some we didn’t.
We sent about 4 different emails, a few to those that didn’t respond to the first email. Pretty cool.
The cooler thing was that out of 45 people that we invited, 20 of you have gone in, created an account and started to kick the tires of our business dashboards for your own business. Pretty dang good response rates we’d say!
Top feedback we got:
- You would love Dasheroo to connect to Salesforce, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Plus (Interestingly not Pinterest or Instagram yet.) We’re already able to authenticate and link a Twitter and LinkedIn account which is awesome.
- You liked the ease-of-use in getting applications connected and feeding data into the dashboards.
- You want date ranges for your dashboard reports (currently we give you last 30 days).
How do we know this? We got support set up to get the feedback in. We were able to quickly answer the questions we got using Zoho. We also got on the phone with a few of you to listen to what your needs are. Thanks for that by the way, we just think it’s critical to make sure we’re building what you want.
Next up? We’re going to continue another week or two of alpha to make sure we are doing what you want us to do on our way to a much bigger beta where we’ll be inviting all of you to join. We’re also working on building as many Twitter Insights as possible. Hopefully we’ll be able to show them to you next week!
