Just yesterday Google released its Payday loan and Panda 4.0 algorithm changes targeting uber spammy sites that want to have a better page rank for their keywords.

This was actually rolled last June, only targeting extremely spammy queries like “payday loans.” Now they’ve released it in a more widespread way. It’s Google’s intention to serve up quality sites and relevant content, whether they’re organic or paid so this is a step in the direction of doing so.

We’re no stranger to Panda, the algorithm designed to give a nudge up the ranking scale to sites that have super high quality content, ultimately dropping those that don’t to the bottom of the search engine results. Keep a close eye on your rankings for your keywords since Google just released this major update. If you’ve got good quality content you should benefit from this.
